Therapy at Horizon Psychiatry

Now offering individual therapy!

Horizon Psychiatry is launching a new therapy program focused on individual treatment and personal growth. Our goal is to provide clients with evidence-based support through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other proven approaches.

Beginning December 1st, therapy sessions will be offered in person at our St. Cloud office and through telehealth, creating flexible options for care. This is the first step in expanding our therapy services to better meet the needs of our community.

Welcome Our New Therapists!

Anna Welle | MSW, LICSW

Anna completed both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work at The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota. Anna has 10+ years of experience in providing therapy to the child/adolescent population ranging from ages of 6-21.

Anna uses techniques in therapy that pull from trauma informed treatments. Anna has been trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy. As a trained clinician, Anna uses techniques from these forms of care in her practice when a client has experienced a traumatic event. Anna also utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy techniques to assist children, adolescents, teenagers and young adults with challenges surrounding a number of mental health symptoms. Within her time as a mental health therapist, Anna has worked with those experiencing difficulty with perfectionism, life change/transition, peer conflict, family relationships, academic stressors, identity, loss and grief and challenges within their self-esteem. She highly appreciates identifying the values and strengths of clients throughout their time together. Anna feels building on protective factors is a significant component in finding growth.

When working with those who are younger or those who are interested, Anna enjoys creating art therapeutically. She values movement and time spent creating and discovering in nature. Anna can also offer parent-related sessions and/or family sessions. This time can be spent expressing what life is like as a parent/family member, what wins have been conquered and what challenges seem faced most often. If your elementary, middle, high school or college student could benefit from mental health support, Anna would be a great fit for you.
